I’ve finally realised what it is that annoys me about the digital editions of newspapers.

That’s a lovely picture of the girls there, fair play to them. What’s with the caption? They seem “well pleased” with their results? Since when do we say “well pleased” in the Irish Times? I know I’m being the fuddiest of duddies but I like my Times stodgy. Bring back the stodgy, stodgy broadsheet language. [...]
